Welcome to St Aidan's Day Nursery - A childcare facility for children from birth to eight years old.

Our nursery is situated in the old St Aidan's Church Hall, and over the years this has been an integral part of the local community. Through providing a childcare service aimed at the family not only the child we hope to restore that same feeling of community within the St Aidan's Day Nursery. Our motivation for the opening of this nursery is to be in a position to provide a positive experience for each and every child, and their families during their time with us.

What do we do?

We provide quality education as laid out in the Early Year Foundation Stage Curriculum, tailored to individual children’s needs and covering a diverse range of activities.

We encourage an atmosphere of respect, self esteem and acceptance of others through the modelling of such behaviours ourselves as staff and through the guidance we provide the children. We aim to encourage parental involvement within the nursery through open days, parents evenings, family fun days, Christmas carols e.t.c.

When are we open?

We are open for 51 weeks of the year from 7:30am until 6pm, Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays.

‘Positive, friendly, accommodating, supportive - St Aidan’s is a wonderful facility where staff and management understand every aspect of excellent childcare at every level for both child and parent. I am so very grateful that I am able to leave all three of my children in such a caring, safe and trustworthy environment.’
