Fees
We are open 7:30am – 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, for 51 weeks a year. We only close at Christmas & bank holidays.
At St Aidan’s we always try hard to keep our fee increases as low as possible and for this reason our fees remain extremely competitive when compared to other nurseries in the area. The last few years have only seen minimal increases in our prices and we have managed to keep these increases behind the national rate of inflation and the cost to the business of implementing the annual increases in the National Minimum Wage.
Fees from April 2025
At St Aidan’s we always try hard to keep our fee increases as low as possible and for this reason our fees remain competitive when compared to other nurseries in the area.
From the 1st April 2025 our nursery fees are charged as follows and children may attend for either morning, afternoon or full day sessions:
The above fees include all meals and drinks.

Late fees
Your child’s fees are due on the first of the month. All payments are to reach our bank on the first of the month. Payments are calculated on a monthly basis and must be paid in advance. Late payments will incur a fine of £2 per day added to your bill every day until the outstanding bill is paid and your child will be unable to attend nursery, as per the terms and conditions.
There will be a £50 one off administration charge if payments have not been received by the 10th of the month.
Admission fee
There is a non-refundable £50 admission fee to secure your child’s nursery place, and this will be paid when the place is booked. This fee includes four taster sessions.
Calculating fees & discounts
It is simple for parents to work out the amount of their monthly Standing Order payment for unfunded children by the following calculation: – (Cost of all sessions attended in 1 week x 52) ÷ 12 = monthly payment.
A 5% sibling discount is available if two or more children attend nursery. This discount applies to the child attending for the least sessions, or to the eldest child if both children attend for the same sessions.
A late collection charge of £7.50 per 15 minutes will be applied to a child’s account in the event that the child is not collected on time and no alternative arrangements have been made with the nursery owner or manager.
Funding
St Aidan’s Day Nursery are a registered provider of early years education funding for 15 or 30 hours for 3 and 4 year-old children. We also offer funded sessions to all children from the term after they turn 9 months of age.
Children who are accessing the 15/30 hours per week of FEYP funding will be charged for all meals and drinks during these sessions.
Alternatively, parents may send their child to nursery with packed meals.
Nursery fees are reviewed by the Nursery Owner and Manager at 6 monthly interviews namely the 1st March and the 1st September. An annual fee increase will take place on the 1st April each year.
For fully funded sessions the cost for meals and resources with effect from the 1st April 2025 are:
